Weekend of fun!

This weekend five of us Namibian volunteers met up in Swakopmund by the coast to come together and have some fun. Swakopmund is the tourist capital of Namibia and also the most German-influenced city in the country. It is actually like coming to Germany; even the weather is cold and windy. We had a great time with an action packed schedule including skydiving, sand boarding, quad biking and tequila drinking! I was rather exhausted when I came back to Oshivelo on Sunday evening (I’m getting older). The skydiving was indescribable so I won’t even try. I know I have to do it again.
